'Subaru River Jam': From Reggae to Rockabilly and Beyond Free Concert Series Debuts at U.S. National Whitewater Center

'Subaru River Jam' Debuts May 1 through October 30

CHERRY HILL, N.J., April 14 -- Subaru of America, Inc. has
partnered with the U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC) in Charlotte, NC
to present an inaugural free outdoor summer and fall concert series. The
event title, 'Subaru River Jam,' speaks to both Subaru's support of the
event and the musical acts that will jam on stage. The title also
highlights the center's signature feature -- a multiple-channel,
customizable whitewater river for rafting, canoeing and kayaking, which
will be used for the 2008 U.S. Olympic team trials in April.

"Sponsoring the Subaru River Jam is a good fit on several levels,"
notes Tim Mahoney, senior vice president and CMO, Subaru of America, Inc.
"Subaru has a long history of supporting outdoor events, and our customers
are outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy the types of activities offered at the
whitewater center. It's often true that, when you see a Subaru on the road,
you'll see a kayak or a mountain bike on the roof rack."

Outdoor enthusiasts -- an apt description of many Subaru drivers -- and
music lovers will be treated to an eclectic range of acts. Musical genres
span the bluegrass sounds of the Moonshine Racers to the rockabilly rhythms
of the Masonboro Boys, and the reggae funk of Dub Access to the honky-tonk
twang of the Truckstop Preachers. Each concert provides visitors a relaxing
way to cool down after a strenuous day in the state-of-the-art facility's
mountain-biking and running trails, climbing center, and "mega zip" and
challenge courses. The concerts are free and open to the public.

"Subaru understands our market, and our market understands Subaru -- so
the combination makes great sense," adds Lance Kinerk, vice president,
sales and marketing, at the USNWC. "We look forward to building our
partnership and delivering an inviting music setting for our guests."

Concertgoers will also have a chance to check out several of Subaru's
line of rugged-yet-refined all-wheel-drive vehicles, including the Impreza,
Outback, Tribeca and the all-new 2009 Forester.

official U.S. Olympic Training Site. The national governing body for the
sport, USA Canoe and Kayak (USACK) has also designated the Center as its

Snoop Dogg, Ego Trippin'

Snoop Dogg, Ego Trippin'

Carriage in mind that rap music has always be considered a music genre for the rebellious youth, it is debatable when a rapper should hang up his or her mic. For Snoop Dogg, world Health Organization returns with his one-ninth solo crusade and 15 long time of have under his whack, it is reasonably enlighten the persuasion of retiring is non yet in his foreseeable hereafter. It's surprising, given that he has likewise been occupied with other projects, like his mob reality render Snooper Dogg's Father Hood, endorsements and directing porno flicks. Snooper seems endlessly on his grind, whilst displaying a hoi polloi of personalities. I intend, what other entertainer could get away with openly exhibiting their crew affiliations and still appear on mainstream talk shows like The David Letterman Depict and The Ellen DeGeneres Show?

The competently titled Ego Trippin', chooses not to be littered with the obvious current big names and rather lends to the highest degree of the production to QDT Music, the producer collaboration of Teddy Riley and DJ Quik, patch the sounds ar inspired by '70s soul to '80s pop. Sensual Seduction, the lead single, has the Southern Californian singing the bulk of the caterpillar tread through a vocoder, a great deal care T-Pain, and enlists Shawty Redd to re-create the '80s disco music funk, aiding one of his dearie topics: Litter women. Yes, Snooper does continue to remain within his lyrical comfort zone; gangsters, hos and recreational drugs. Perchance this is an indication that he has zilch freshly to say on rise, although Neva River Get 2 Worry aims to confirm this hasn't prevented him from successes: ''Stack memorial tablet subsequently plaque, gain millions sold I'm the Bo$$ of this kick and I ain't ne'er went Gold''.

Chill, a cover caterpillar tread by The Time, has Snoop vocalizing over again and My Music a country ode to Jonny Crash are both peculiarly
